ANNIHILATION movie review podcast

ANNIHILATION is the new movie from directorAlex Garland, who previously made 28 DAYS LATER and EX MACHINA.  It’s Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets 2001: A Space Odyssey.  With a little ALIENS thrown in for good measure. Thought provoking Sci-Fi with equal parts disturbing and beautiful, ANNIHILATION is sure to please those who like their Sci-Fi on the intellectual side. But will it please everyone else? Is it too aloof and even too nihilistic for some? We break it down on this weeks podcast. This week Andrew joins Jim and Pat in a podcast that proves that even amongst Sci-Fi fans there can be passionate disagreement. Thanks for telling your friends, family and co-workers about us! ALIEN COVENANT & KING ARTHUR

There Be MOVIES survived “ALIEN: COVENANT: and” ARTHUR: LEGEND OF THE SWORD” and wonders why two genre movies, with two good directors, featuring two iconic movie characters and a total of four colons didn’t give us geek boners. Find us on iTunes and Stitcher. STAR TREK BEYOND

Jim and Pat review STAR TREK BEYOND. Director Justin Lin moves out of fast cars and into fast starships in a furious and successful re-flip of the new Trek franchise. Co-writer (and Star Trek super-fan) Simon Peg finds the Star Trek in the beyond and never lets go. Sure to please old fans and new fans alike. Was it perfect? No. But ignore the first awful trailer and head warp 6 into the cinema for a great time. Find us on iTunes and Stitcher.
